President's message

The urban landscape continues to change with the times. As we move further into the 21st century, we are starting to see more and more massive buildings and structures. As such buildings and structures grow old and facilities outlive their purpose however, they inevitably need to be torn down.

Demolition creates new space where buildings previously stood, improves landscapes and makes it possible to meet urban demand.

Established in 1973, Fujimura Co., Ltd. has continued to carry out demolition work with a focus on safety first and foremost ever since, based on our motto gSafty First for your family.h These words originate from lessons passed down by the companyfs founder Yosuke Fujimura and act as an emblem that has continued to underpin Fujimura right through to the present day.

We continue to actively introduce cutting-edge machinery, including the 2003 introduction of the specialist ZX1000K demolition unit, which was jointly developed in conjunction with Hitachi Construction Machinery and boasts a height of approximately 43 meters, making it amongst the tallest in the world (hydraulic shovel undercarriage). Furthermore, in addition to working to improve operational efficiency and safety, we also continue to strive to cater to a more diverse range of sites.

The environment surrounding the demolition industry has remained tough in recent years amidst drastic changes in urban structure since the collapse of Japanfs bubble economy and emerging issues such as competitive pricing and environmental issues. Nonetheless, by actively encouraging a cost-oriented approach (gCOSTMINDh), Fujimura Co., Ltd. continues to promote a range of initiatives designed to cut expenses and operational costs on a daily basis and has consistently managed to reduce costs. In terms of environmental initiatives, we obtained certification under international standard ISO 14001:2004 in September 2005. From a legal standpoint, we have also been acclaimed as a conscientious demolition operator that gives careful consideration to the local environment.

Working together as a company to sustain efforts such as these, we intend to continue to hone our skills as a professional demolition provider and firmly establish ourselves as a company that contributes to society by continually leading the way forward towards the next generation.

I sincerely hope that we can continue to rely on your support.
